About us

South Portslade Tree Planting is a community-driven initiative dedicated to enriching our neighbourhood in Portslade, through the power of trees. Our mission is to plant new street trees, improving air quality, boosting local biodiversity, and creating beautiful urban spaces for all residents to enjoy.

Support our planting projects

South Portslade currently has a tree canopy cover of only 8.4%, significantly less than many other wards in Brighton & Hove. The city's average canopy cover is 10.5%, well below the national average of 16.4%.

Every tree planted brings us closer to a healthier, more beautiful South Portslade. Your generous donations directly fund our tree planting efforts, from purchasing saplings to funding installation and ongoing care. Help us reach our goal and plant more trees.
